Description

CLS  (Canadian Lumber Standard) is used for timber frame construction and internal partition walls. Although as the name suggests it is of Canadian origin, CLS is in fact an acknowledged grade of timber and is now predominantly sourced from Europe.

Supplied in a convenient 1.2 metre length – easy to handle and perfect for smaller projects or tight spaces.

All our CLS is graded to a minimum of C16, we insist however, that it is wane free and straight. Both of which are important for this product and its application.

Choosing close grained raw material is vital in guaranteeing that CLS remains straight and stable after production and in use. Slow grown, close grained imported timber, gives greater strength and stability along the length.

• Kiln Dried

• Perfect for Timber Framing and Stud Wall Construction Commonly used by builders and DIYers alike for timber framing, non-loadbearing partitions, and internal wall studs. The consistent sizing and quality make it easy to cut and fix using standard tools.
